During November and December 2010, Bureau Veritas carried out the recertification auditing process with excellent results. The high technical capacity of our human talent, the monitoring, updating and simplification of the Quality Management System (QMS) processes and the implementation of technological tools, stood out as strengths of National Planning Department.
As a result, the certification in ISO 9001:2008 and in NTCGP 1000:2009 was granted, covering all processes and with the following scope: “Orientation of the mid and long term planning of economic, social and environmental development of the country; programming and coordination of public investment, and monitoring and evaluation of national government policies, programs, plans and projects”
Manual of Quality Control and Operations
The Quality Control Manual of the DNP is a document in which the General Regimen of Quality Control is explained and summarized. This system is realized by means of the fulfillment of the requirements of ISO 9001:200 and NTCGP 1000:2004 through the polices and objectives of quality control, the interaction of different processes in the operating model, the purview of the Quality Control System and the justifaction for the ambit of the System of Quality control. Policy of Quality Control
The National Planning department is committed to setting the direction of, developing, monitoring and evaluating policies, plans, programs and projects that aim at the economic, social and environmental, environmental development of the country. It complies with the directives of the National Government and all applicabale rules. This promise is realized by means of satisfying the needs of the citizenry in the context of interinstitutional cooperation. This is possible thanks to a highly-skilled staff, the presence of satisfactory physical and technological infrastructure for the continued improvement of institutional management.
Objectives of Quality Control
The National Planning department has set for itself the following quality-control goals:
1. Directing the planning of national development in the short, medium and long terms.
2. Guaranteeing the implementation of public investment policies of the national and regional governments in financial, economic and technical terms.
3. Strengthening the evaluation and monitoring of policies, plans, programs and projects called for in national development planning.
4. Taking steps necessary to improve the satisfaction of internal and external clients.
5. Continued improvement of the System of Quality Fdontrol of the DNP.
